Responsible sourcing of a critical mineral in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

Transitions led the process of identifying partners to support the development of a responsible sourcing programme for critical minerals in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Our teams mapped the supply chain, assessed environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks, and identified local stakeholders capable of implementing the project. An analysis of certification standard criteria was also conducted to help structure the responsible sourcing programme’s activities.

The assignment led to the selection of potential partners and brought together the stakeholders needed to launch the programme.
