A due diligence system for a professional network in the timber sector

With the EU Deforestation-free Regulation (EUDR), due diligence requirements are expanding across the entire timber supply chain. Transitions has supported Le Commerce du Bois (LCB) in adapting its system to meet these requirements.

Gaps between the existing framework and the new regulatory requirements were identified, and the reference documents used by members were revised accordingly.

The timber sector is now better prepared for the entry into force of the EUDR, with companies having access to practical guidelines to support compliance.
